WOD October 19, 2018
Thank you to all of our Athletes vs Epilepsy who participated in Jenny LaBaw's Move Mountains Workout of the Day (WOD)! Your efforts to help raise funds and awareness are commendable! If you didn't get the opportunity to participate in this year's WOD, you can still participate by making a donation!
In September of 2015, Athletes vs Epilepsy Ambassador and CrossFit athlete Jenny LaBaw set a goal to raise awareness and funds for the Epilepsy Foundation through her Move Mountains campaign. Her goal was to run across the state of Colorado, up and over the Rocky Mountains.
“I had kept my epilepsy diagnosis a secret for over 20 years because of fear and embarrassment. It was/is time to squash the stigma and educate people about epilepsy.”
On October 19th, Jenny accomplished her incredible feat by running 500 miles and raising over $52,000 for the Epilepsy Foundation through its Athletes vs Epilepsy program.
Jenny also set another goal for the campaign. Move Mountains was an event to not only bring awareness to epilepsy, but also served to motivate individuals to take control, over come obstacles and live life to the fullest.
October 19, 2018 marked the 3rd Anniversary of Jenny LaBaw’s Move Mountains Campaign. Jenny invites you to help us to raise funds and awareness for those living with the challenges of epilepsy!

1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy (multiple unprovoked seizures) in their lifetime. Chances are you may know some of them. We need to move closer to finding cures for them. Let’s harness our power together to Move Mountains, find a cure and save lives!
